As I work from home, I'll often have leftovers. Delicious! But otherwise, I'll go for a healthy salad sandwich or wrap. In the cold months, I love soup - either home-made, Leanne's Kitchen dumpling soup, or at a pinch, Asian flavoured cup a soups. And if I'm on the run, sushi is always quick and easy. I love lunch too!

@AndreaWong - It's amazing! You must go. The same people who own Brooklyn Bagels own Dixon Street Deli. Great range of deli-style food..you must try their Filo assortments! Devine. I have taken many a visitors to their cafe in College Street and it too has become a favourite of theirs. Plus! Caffe Laffare next door has some of the best coffee in town!

@BridgetJopson - thanks for your recommendation for lunch in Wellington! I've tried Wholly Bagels but not Brooklyn Bagels.

@AlTheCat - homemade Tofu? Wow, aren't you clever!

    Lunch? Very rarely do lunch....

... it's kinda hard to fit in between the 11am and 2pm meals :D

Lately the 11am is porridge with banana and the 2pm is homemade tofu n cottage cheese quiche.

Personally a fan of leftovers. Can pretend it is something a bit more than just a sandwhich.

In summer I love a salad with lettuce, tomato, articoke hearts, grilled capsicum, hummus and lemon juice. Yum!

Favourite place to buy lunch in Wellington:

    Brooklyn Bagels
    College Street
    Wellington.

They have the most devine spinach, sun-dried tomato and mozzarella filo. Mmmm, yum!
